This article explains how to obtain your JoFotara (Jordan National e-Invoicing) credentials from the Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD).
These credentials: User Number, Secret Key, and Income Source Sequence, are required to connect VitaNet and NuMetric with the national e-invoicing system.
Once generated from the ISTD portal, the credentials are used to activate compliant e-invoice issuance directly from VitaNet and NuMetric without manual intervention.
Access the Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD) electronic website:
Or Access National e-Invoicing System Portal, as shown in the image.
On the login screen will appear.
Enter the Tax Number, Username, and Password of the company, establishment, or institution, then click Login.
Click on the Device Linking icon, as shown in the image.
Click on the Add New Link icon, as shown in the image.
Enter the Username, select the Income Source Sequence, then click the Add icon as shown in the image.
⚠️ Make sure to save the Income Source Sequence number, as it will be required later when configuring the integration settings through VitaNet.
The system will generate a User Number and a Secret Key.
⚠️ Copy both the User Number and Secret Key by clicking Copy, as shown in the image. These credentials will be used when completing the integration settings in NuMetric.work.
