The Open / Pending Appointments page displays all active appointments that have already been approved or created internally by the clinic.

This page serves as the main operational list for the clinic’s daily schedule, allowing staff to manage appointments, review patient details, and complete invoicing after services are provided.


What You See on the Open / Pending Appointments Page

Each appointment record shows:

  • Customer Number

  • Reference Number

  • Booking Date

  • Creation Date

  • Order Origin

    • Booking Portal

    • Online Booking

  • Payment Status

  • Available Actions


What You Can Do on This Page

1. View Appointment Details

You can open any appointment to review:

  • Patient information

  • Appointment type (Portal / online service)

  • Assigned doctor

  • Insurance details (if applicable)


2. Complete Payment Status

This page allows clinics to:

  • Check whether payment is pending or completed

  • Identify insurance-based or self-paid appointments


3. Complete the Invoice for an Appointment

When viewing an appointment, clinic staff can complete the invoice directly by:

  • Adding service items

  • Entering item costs and values

  • Allocating amounts between:

    • Patient portion

    • Insurance portion

Once completed:

  • The invoice is generated

  • The appointment/order status is updated accordingly

This page is commonly used for:

  • Managing the clinic’s daily appointment workflow

  • Reviewing approved and active bookings

  • Completing invoicing after services are delivered

  • Ensuring readiness for insured and self-pay appointments

📝 Notes

  • Only approved or internally created appointments appear on this page.

  • Appointments awaiting approval appear under Pending Clinic Approval.

  • Invoices are not issued until service items and values are entered.

  • All actions are logged for audit and compliance purposes.
